Things I have been up to

So, I know it has been awhile since I have posted. Well, now I have. My brother has been working his summer job, so it's just me and my mom. We have been playing board games, talking and watching an awesome TV series. Well, my whole family is watching the awesome TV series.

Anyway, here are some photos that I have been taking for the past few days. We will start off with Father's Day. Thankfully I didn't have to sit through church (I was helping in children's church) because the dad's got cheeseburgers.

I thought that I would change things up a bit this Father's Day. I made Happy Father's Day signs in different languages.

Spanish

Dutch

German

And Italian

I got this idea from a birthday card my grandad and grandma sent my dad

I had to fill in the space with something.....what better then smiley faces!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

A day later, me and my mom played Monopoly

All my places

I love you Istanbul! (You will find out why)

My total money at the end of the game

My mom's total money at the end of the game

I had a hotel on Istanbul and my mom landed on it. Unlucky for her she only had 4.160 million dollars and she owed me 7.5 million.

Now after that me and my mom worked on my brother's graduation album. I took some pictures of pictures that we have put in the album.

My mom put all the photos in while I took all the photos off of a poster board

He is so CUTE!!!

He is such a sweet brother! :)

I LOVE all these pictures!!!!

Oh my goodness! I was so little!

I think I faintly remember that day... :)

This picture is on my lock screen of my iPod

Priceless.....

This is my favorite!

Okay so, today we went totally weird! Since it's the first day of Summer, me and my mom had ice cream with waffles, chocolate syrup and whipped cream for breakfast! My two favorite meals of the day, put into one! Who can beat that?

Mine. Homemade ice cream. Yum!

Okay, does this look professional or what? You could buy this at Fenton's.

On my artist side I want to fill a little space in my room with some of my artwork. Here is something that I am working on:

Not finished, but I hope it looks good!

Here is what I am hoping my drawing looks like.

I will take pictures of the other drawings that I make and what I wanted them to look like. Well, that's all for today! Until next time!

Compassion Letter Writing Night and more of Saturdays

Well, once a month on Friday nights we do a Compassion Letter Writing Night. Basically, it's a night when some of the church family that sponser children come and write letters to their child\children. My mom comes up with different ideas of things we can make and send to our children. Last night we made finger paintings and cut out on cardstock their names. Then we are going to glue to letters on to the painted paper. Here is some photos I took while we were there:

Here are some of my paintings (Again I am sorry they are sideways)

We were using tape but it was ripping the paper so we used paper letters instead

Everyone said that it looks like the cover of a Dr. Suess book :)

Some of my mom's paintings

I thought I would do something different

These are the paper letters we used to glue on the paper

My dad's was so cool!

This one looks like tye-dye. Don't you think?

So this is what I did today. Me and my mom went to a u-pick blueberry and cherry place this morning. It was really windy and is still really windy. We had lots of fun, I thought I almost lost my mom when we were picking cherries. :)

A new book I am reading. It's the sequel to Eight Cousins, which is the sequel to Little Women I think.

Since I can't have dessert at night, (because it messes with my tummy), I thought I would have some with lunch. Yum! Any guesses on what I had? Hint: What did me and my mom pick this morning? And what can you cut like a pizza that is a dessert?

"To this day you must be a stranger to one of your parents. If you don't marry Mr. Collins, your mother will never see you again. But if you marry Mr. Collins, I will never see you again." I love this movie... :)

I got a letter from a friend today! Thank you, Miranda! I will put my letter in the mail on Monday!

My book of poems. I thought I would decorate it a bit.

I got a new shirt today! Always have hope!

Gasp! I didn't know my mom was in Pride and Prejudice! :)

That's all for today folks! I hoped you enjoyed today's blog post! :) :) :) :)

Our Crazy Busy Week!

Our town does an Apricot Fiesta. There are all sorts of vendors and food. Our church does a Lemonade in the Shade thing. There is a kiddie pool, hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones and a bounce house. All for free!

For American Heritage Girls, the city asks us to have a coke booth, where we sell different kinds of drinks. It got pretty muddy there, but someone thought about putting cardboard on the ground to keep it some what dry. So when we were doing our shift, it was still a little bit muddy. My feet could tell all! :)

These are my feet a little bit after we had been working (sorry that it's upside-down I took it with my iPod and I don't know why it did that)

Where the water was had to be the muddiest spot there

Me and another little girl went around asking for boxes when we needed more

And these are my feet after we were done working our shift

So today we went to a blueberry farm with our friends. We picked a TON of blueberries. Well, we picked about 10 pounds. I don't know if you would call that a lot or not. We haven't beat my uncles amount of blueberries though. He pick 30 pounds of blueberries when he went! We also went to go see a dollar movie at the theather. It was the Kit Kittrage movie. She is a American Girl Doll. They have made a movie out of three other dolls. While we were in the car on the way back (I think it was the way back) the girls and I took some silly pictures. Nora is 7 (I think) and she is the one with the dark short hair and Lilly is 6 and 3/4th (as she says it) and she is the one with the blond short hair.

The start of some crazy silly pictures! :)

Me and my silly faces

It almost looks like Lilly is punching me! Lol!

I just kept taking pictures......

We ended up laughing the whole time :)

Okay so, moving on. I cut my hair about (oh let's see) 4 inches. You should have seen the animal living in our trash can! It feels really nice now that it's short! I can brush it out easier and braid it faster. My cousin Jessie will be glad that I cut it, she has always wanted it this short!

It is a little bit wavy on the ends, but not as curly as when I was about two or three!

Yes, I am sure you are wondering why in the world do I have a piece of tissue in my mouth. Well, I will tell you. I had a molar that was loose (really loose) and it was time for it to come out. I didn't want it hanging there anymore so I pulled it out. I thought that I was never going to pull another tooth out. (I had a while back). But, I had too. Now I have a gap where the tooth was!

Okay now on to the poems. I have been writing quite a few lately. When someone says something about the weather or about the season I just get the lines in my head. And then I have to write them down. So here is a few:

Summer is fun with friends
You can play in the pool
You can laugh your heads off
While drinking lemonade
And while sitting on the porch
We will laugh and play
All day long and in to the night
Then we'll go to bed
And do it all over again

Here is another one:

Lemonade is nice!
When it's 90 degrees!
You can sit on the porch,
With a fan in your hand!

You can sit with friends
Or sit by yourself
While you enjoy ice cold
Lemonade!

Last one:

It's not looking alot
Like Summer outside
The sky's are gray
And it's pouring down rain

You can hear the cars go by
Splashing the water around
And the rain coming down
It just doesn't feel like summer

Thank you for reading my lastest blog post! I think I set a record for the world's longest blog post! :)
